founder and principal - SHE/HER

Get to know me, and you will see and hear my passion for authentic leadership development, the advancement of justice, and the development of our core empathic response centers to thrive in diverse environments. My services are based on trainings, degrees, certifications, and lived experiences that embody these areas of focus.

This work is bigger than any one of us. I was brought up in a family that held justice at the center of our responsibility, privilege, and duty as citizens. I define justice as an assertion that all persons of all and intersecting labels have an equal right to a dignified existence that includes an excellent education, economic opportunity, environmental safety, sufficient healthcare, and a political voice. My passion is supporting and sustaining those who advance justice.

I look forward to having the opportunity to learn more about you. May you shine brightly!

VIC HOGG

CO-CONSULTANT - THEY/THEM

Vic's upbringing in rural Michigan sparks their passion for workforce development and cross-political dialogue. An enrolled member of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, their drive is to strengthen Native political leadership across the Great Lakes region. After graduating from Yale University, they crossed coasts to pursue the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, and then joined the Coro team. As Director of Training, Vic designed and facilitated leadership development programs for youth, survivor leaders fighting against human trafficking, and civic leaders in the Bay Area. Outside of Lightwell, they spend their time biking, running, and rollerskating in the parks of Brooklyn.
